FIDO Tech appoints Dr Piers Clark to Board of Directors

Oxford UK, 6 July 2026 – FIDO Tech, the global water technology company behind the award-winning FIDO AI leak detection platform, has announced the appointment of Dr Piers Clark as a Non-Executive Director, further strengthening its strategic leadership team as the company continues its rapid international expansion.

Dr Clark is one of the most influential figures in the global water sector and brings decades of experience spanning utility operations, investment, innovation and technology commercialisation.

FIDO Tech’s artificial intelligence platform helps water utilities and businesses reduce non-revenue water and operational risk by accurately detecting leaks and ranking them by size using acoustic pipeline data. The company’s technology is enabling organisations around the world to find more leaks, prioritise repairs more effectively and improve network performance at scale.

As Founder and former Chairman of Isle Group Ltd, Dr Clark has played a pivotal role in accelerating innovation across the global water sector by helping utilities and other water users identify, trial and adopt new technologies to build resilience and overcome operational challenges.

The innovative funding and evaluation mechanism he helped create, Technology Approval Group (TAG) has helped unlock more than $1 billion of investment into water-related clean technology companies worldwide.

Alongside his new role at FIDO, he is the Chair of  Ozo Innovations, and Mode Labs Ltd.
