FIDO Tech appoints Amy Prinsloo to lead Aqua Plus division
Water intelligence company FIDO Tech has appointed Amy Prinsloo as Head of Aqua Plus, its fast-growing, AI-led corporate water stewardship and resilience division.
Amy joins the company with extensive leadership experience in global technology organisations, including delivering service excellence with diverse international teams. Her previous senior roles include positions at EXL and NIQ (formerly Nielsen IQ).
Aqua Plus Powered by FIDO AI is FIDO Tech’s specialist brand focused on AI-driven corporate water stewardship. The division delivers large-scale, place-based water replenishment programmes in water-stressed regions, working with multinational clients including Microsoft, Meta and Gap Inc.
In her new role, Amy will focus on expanding Aqua Plus’s global reach, scaling transparent and volumetric water stewardship initiatives, and helping clients to maximise the water and carbon impact of their corporate programs.
Amy said growing up in South Africa’s Western Cape shaped her awareness of water scarcity and resilience. “You always needed to know how long you could shower for,” she said. “I love that Aqua Plus delivers measurable environmental outcomes that strengthen water resilience for communities and businesses, all while operating through a commercial lens. With my background working alongside global brands, I’m excited to help clients use AI to drive better water outcomes and to grow the Aqua Plus business.”
Phil Tomlinson, Chief Revenue Officer at FIDO Tech, said the appointment comes at a pivotal stage in Aqua Plus’s growth. “Since launching in 2023, Aqua Plus has pioneered a commercial approach to corporate water stewardship, securing billions of litres of water for businesses, people and the planet,” he said. “As demand grows from corporations, utilities and municipalities, Amy’s strategic, analytical and commercial expertise will be instrumental as we expand into more water-stressed basins worldwide.”
Working out of London and Oxfordshire, Amy will build on the Aqua Plus foundations established by FIDO’s Founder Emeritus Victoria Edwards, who continues to support FIDO with developing our corporate water stewardship offering.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her young family, walking her two dogs and marathon running.
