FIDO Tech appoints Phil Tomlinson as Chief Revenue Officer
We’re pleased to announce Phil Tomlinson as Chief Revenue Officer for FIDO Tech. His new role strengthens FIDO Tech’s global leadership team as demand grows for AI-led leak detection, network monitoring and water resilience solutions.
With more than 20 years’ experience in digital water solutions, Phil has worked with utilities, municipalities and technology partners around the world to support smarter, more sustainable water management.
Before joining FIDO Tech, he held senior commercial and leadership roles across the water technology sector, including Commercial Director at Metasphere and Digital Solutions Leader for Water Utilities at Grundfos.
Since joining FIDO Tech as Global Sales Director, he has played a key role in growing commercial activity across the UK, US and international markets.
In his new role as Chief Revenue Officer, Phil will lead FIDO’s global revenue strategy. This will support the continued growth of FIDO AI across water utilities, fixed network monitoring and corporate water stewardship through Aqua Plus Powered by FIDO AI.
The appointment comes at an important stage for FIDO Tech. Water networks are under growing pressure. Regulation is increasing. Utilities and businesses need better ways to measure, manage and reduce water loss.
Phil said: “Water resource and technology have been at the centre of my career for more than two decades. I’m excited to take on this role at a time when the sector is moving towards smarter, more data-led ways of managing water.
“FIDO AI has an ability to turn hidden network activity into clear, actionable insight. That matters because utilities and corporations are under increasing pressure to reduce water loss, improve resilience and make better decisions with the resources they already have.
“My focus is on helping more organisations access the benefits of FIDO’s technology. I’ll be working to build the partnerships and commercial models needed to deliver measurable water impact at scale.”

As CRO, Phil will work closely with FIDO Tech’s customer, partner and internal teams to support the growth and adoption of FIDO Tech’s core ‘Powered by FIDO AI’ brands, including Leak Locate, Network Monitor and Aqua Plus, across both established and emerging water markets.
This supports FIDO Tech’s wider mission to reduce water loss at scale and improve the long-term resilience of communities, businesses and the planet.
