What you need for FIDO leak noise correlation

How to use FIDO leak noise correlation

Leak noise correlation is a process where FIDO AI calculates the location of a leak between two sensors by using the time it takes the noise to reach each sensor. It is generally carried out after a leak has been detected when FIDO AI has mapped the best starting point for further investigations on the water network. It is done immediately after asset sounding, which confirms the loudest leak noise, and before top sounding.

Easily select and synchronize up to ten acoustic sensors using the FIDO smartphone app. All sensors are equipped with a highly accurate digital clock for perfect timing.

Use your smartphone app to find or identify locations on your network where you want to place your sensors. The app guides you through each deployment.

Run one or more correlations simultaneously. You can leave sensors to finish recording. They’ll store data indefinitely until you’re ready to collect and upload it to FIDO AI.

FIDO correlation combines machine learning with complex mathematical calculations. This minimises the need for complicated, engineered hardware in the field because all the clever stuff is done in the cloud.

Multi-point correlation allows users to synchronize up to ten FIDO sensors and run multiple correlations between any two of them, simultaneously and as often as they like - even later, when they are off site. Once you have the synchronized data, it’s stored forever, so you can reconfigure correlations to run between different points.
